Mary Christensen-Cooper

Mary Christensen-Cooper is a Lead Reviewer for Multilingual Learners (MLL) in Mathematics at EdReports. Mary has worked in education for 19 years and brings experience as a middle school math teacher, instructional coach, district leader, regional PK-12 mathematics consultant, and mathematics curriculum specialist. Most recently, Mary was a lead curriculum designer specializing in linguistic supports for MLLs in mathematics curricula. She earned a B.S. in Elementary Education with minors in mathematics and Spanish from Michigan State University, and an M.A. in Teaching the Linguistically Diverse Learner in the Secondary Mathematics Classroom from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. Additionally, Mary is certified in Teaching English as a Second Language, and she is a U.S. Math Recovery Champion and Leader.
