Karl Nelson

Karl Nelson is the Managing Director, Technology & Operations Management, helping to drive technology innovation, operational excellence, and program management alignment to support EdReports’ mission. Prior to this role, Karl has worked to improve access to high quality instructional materials at Family Engagement Lab, Illustrative Mathematics, Open Up Resources, and the Washington State Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction. Karl has earned an MSIM from the University of Washington and an MA from the University of Iowa. In his spare time, he enjoys woodworking, boatbuilding, watching soccer, and spending time with family.
