Alana Calco

Alana Calco is a Managing Director of Talent at EdReports, leading the organization’s multi-faceted strategy for Human Resources operations. In this role, she oversees all aspects of employment lifecycles and directly contributes to cultivating a company culture that is rooted in EdReports’ core values and Diversity, Belonging, Inclusion, and Equity. Prior to joining EdReports, Alana has more than a decade of experience in education, including teaching, coaching, recruiting, and full-spectrum talent development. She has previously designed and lead Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programming, as well as Leadership Development programming, to an entire network of schools and has played an instrumental role in strengthening employee satisfaction and retention efforts. She is deeply passionate about educational equity and supporting employees to bring their best selves to work to ensure that teachers can be the best they can be for their students. Alana earned at B.A. in English Literature and Creative Writing from North Park University in Chicago and a M.A. in Teaching from National Louis University. In her free time, Alana enjoys cooking, gardening, listening to audiobooks, spending time with her husband, four children, and their small menagerie of pets.
